CoreMetal’s Alloy C276 (UNS N10276, DIN 2.4819) plates and sheets represent the gold standard for corrosion-resistant nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloys. With exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in both oxidizing and reducing environments, C276 is the material of choice for the most aggressive chemical media including wet chlorine gas, hypochlorites, sulfuric acid, and mixed acids. This alloy maintains mechanical integrity where other materials fail.

Product Features
✅ Ultimate Corrosion Resistance – Withstands wet chlorine dioxide, hypochlorite, chlorine, formic acid, acetic acid, and seawater.
✅ Pitting & Crevice Corrosion Resistant – Critical pitting temperature exceeds 50°C in 10% FeCl₃ solution; superior to 316L and 904L stainless.
✅ Stress Corrosion Cracking Resistant – Excellent resistance to chloride-induced SCC; suitable for marine and offshore applications.
✅ Oxidation Resistant – Excellent resistance to oxidation at temperatures up to 1035°C in intermittent service.
✅ Wide Chemical Compatibility – Acceptable corrosion rates in sulfuric acid (all concentrations, up to boiling), hydrochloric acid (all concentrations, up to 60°C), and phosphoric acid.
✅ NACE Certified – Approved for sour gas service per NACE MR0175/ISO 15156.
