CoreMetal’s Aluminum Alloy 7075 bars represent the highest strength aluminum alloy available in commercial production. With zinc as the primary alloying element (5.1-6.1%), combined with magnesium, copper, and chromium, 7075 provides tensile strength comparable to many mild steels while maintaining aluminum’s inherent advantages of light weight and corrosion resistance. Available in T6, T651, and T6511 tempers, these bars are the material of choice for aerospace, military, sporting goods, and high-stress structural applications.
