Product Introduction
CoreMetal’s Nickel-Copper Alloy plates in UNS N04400 (Monel 400) provide exceptional corrosion resistance in marine environments and chemical processing applications. This single-phase austenitic alloy contains approximately 63% nickel and 28-34% copper, offering excellent resistance to seawater, sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, and alkalies. With high mechanical strength and excellent fabricability, Monel 400 plates serve marine engineering, chemical processing, oil & gas, and pharmaceutical industries worldwide.

Product Features
✅ Superior Seawater Resistance – Excellent resistance to seawater and brackish water; negligible corrosion rate in flowing seawater up to 22 m/s.
✅ Excellent Sulfuric Acid Resistance – Acceptable performance in reducing acids; recommended for sulfuric acid concentrations 85% and above.
✅ Hydrofluoric Acid Resistant – One of few materials that can handle pure hydrofluoric acid at all concentrations and temperatures.
✅ High Mechanical Strength – Combines high strength with excellent ductility; can be fabricated using standard techniques.
✅ Non-Magnetic – Austenitic structure ensures non-magnetic properties even after severe cold working.
